Mission Statement
Camp Casey’s mission is to provide safe, fun experiences for children and families affected by childhood cancer, sickle cell disease, and other life-threatening illnesses through accessible horseback riding programs.
About
Camp Casey was founded in memory of Casey Foote, a 12-year-old horseback rider who passed away in 2003 from bone and brain cancer. Casey’s legacy and love for horses continues to inspire Camp Casey’s programs and reaches over 1,600 participants each year by providing free horseback riding services to children with cancer, sickle cell and other life-threatening illnesses and their families across Michigan.
Camp Casey offers three cost-free programs to eligible participants; Horsey House Calls, Cowboy Camp Outs, and Outlaw Outings.
